A great sign that you’re doing better than you think is if you feel more at ease with yourself. If you used to always second-guess yourself or the direction your life was heading, but you find yourself trusting yourself more it indicates that you’re more confident and trusting in yourself. When you trust yourself, you can go into situations with a clear and open mind and heart.

You’re Learning to Feel Comfortable with Solitude

If you find that you don’t fear loneliness, but instead embrace your alone time, this is a great sign that you’re doing better than you think. When we are comfortable with being alone with our own company, it opens the door for us to get to know and accept ourselves fully.
