Oregon

About Me: I'm Don Ruff, retired engineer and current president of Oregon Partners of the Americas. I have been involved with Partners since 1990. Thanks to the hundreds of people who volunteer for Oregon Partners every year, we host two different exchange visit groups, send teachers of English to Costa Rica, send a container of wheelchairs, have artists visting and many other thingsprojects. It's an exciting and fun group to be part of. While having all this fun, we are making a difference both here, in Oregon, and in Costa Rica.

PROJECT SUMMARY

Partners of the Americas is a non-profit international grassroots network that creates opportunities for individuals, institutions, and communities to discover how they can change our world through service, leadership, and by building relationships across the Americas. The Sustainable Network Training Program will support the work of our Chapters by training the next generation of leaders, or Network Innovators, who will be the direct beneficiaries of the training. Through the training, the Network Innovators will ultimately impact hundreds of individuals living in their local communities as well as their Chapter’s partner communities in Latin America.
